NEW CLASSES!

Astanga Yoga (any level)
Burn up to 350 calories

Ashtanga is a science and a practice that has evolved over thousands of years. In classical yoga's eight limb practice, we will move through a sequence of poses (which can be personally modified). Using the breath as a continuous thread, we practice with grace, improving stamina, strength, flexibility, posture, and quieting the mind. With clutter removed and the body engaged, we can fully move forward toward healing and healthiness. Empowering and Enriching!

What to wear/bring: Clothes that allow you stretch, sticky mat, sticky socks or barefoot


Qigong/Taichi (any level)
Burn up to 350 calories

Ancient Chinese disciplines involving a continuous series of controlled and slow movements.  We will practice Qigong exercises as a way to ready the body to practice Yang 24 Simplified Taichi, the practical application of a martial art designed to improve physical and mental well-being. Using the breath, we will ground, center, and open, moving into colorfully named postures, improving our balance and moving with confidence. As you begin to move energy around, you will be astounded at how good it makes you feel and how easy it is to do anywhere!

What to wear: Comfortable clothes and shoes

Water Aichi  (any level)
Burn up to 300 calories

A form of Qigong/Taichi practiced in warm water, we will move through 38 steps, starting with "Contemplating" and ending with "Surrounding", using the breath to energize us.  An incredibly great workout without the impact of gravity, moving in water focuses the mind and allows us to work the body in a way we cannot do on dry land. Excellent for feeling like you CAN, when you've been feeling like you can't.

What to wear/bring: Modest swimsuit, unitard, diveskin, or swim shirt and shorts/pants, and swim shoes or barefoot


S.E.L.V.E.S - (Strengthening, Empower, Lean body, Vigor, Endurance, Stretching) A Yoga/Pilates class instructed by Jody Parry. This NEW fitness class combines yoga and pilates, challenging your body to burn fat while creating strong and lean muscles! STARTING JUNE 5TH, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:15am - 10:45am.


Splishin' & Splashin', an Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Exercise Program & Movin' & Groovin', an Arthritis Foundation-based exercise program offered by Jordyn Rice! See schedule for class days and times!
